Bold. Complex. Unmistakably Hungarian.
Zwack is Hungary’s iconic herbal liqueur—crafted from a secret recipe of over 40 herbs and spices, aged in oak casks for depth and smoothness. This bold, bittersweet spirit is often compared to amaro or Jägermeister, but with a spicier, more aromatic profile that reflects centuries of Hungarian craftsmanship.
Originally developed by Dr. József Zwack in 1790 for the Habsburg court, Zwack continues to be made by the same family today, now in its 6th generation, and remains a symbol of Hungarian national pride.
Why we love it:
Zwack is bold, historical, and unmistakably characterful. Whether enjoyed in a classic serve or a creative cocktail, it brings a slice of Hungarian culture to your glass.
