About this product

Bold. Balanced. A powerful yet refined red from Abruzzo’s heart.
Tenuta I Fauri’s Ottobre Rosso is a tribute to the Montepulciano grape’s depth and versatility. Raised in clay-calcareous soils at the base of the Maiella and gently aged for nine months in concrete vats, this wine marries the intensity of dark fruit with an underlying mineral elegance. Its velvety texture and fresh acidity evoke the distinctive terroir of Villamagna, while its polish and structure make it a confident presence at any table.

From the first encounter, expect vibrant aromas of wild blackberry, sour cherry, and crushed bramble. On the palate, it’s fresh yet structured—ripe fruit balanced by subtle spice and firm but approachable tannins—a wine built for both food and quiet reflection.

Why we love it:
Ottobre Rosso is a statement of authenticity: generous yet precise, bold but balanced. It offers the power of Montepulciano without heaviness—and across food or alone, it reveals regional personality with every sip.
