Castellina’s vineyard heart meets Gaiole’s timeless terroir.
Located in Gaiole in Chianti, within the historical core of the Classico zone, San Vincenti’s Chianti Classico is a wine that wears its origins with pride. Harvested from vineyards perched between 430 m and 600 m above sea level, this Sangiovese-led expression captures the elegance of Gaiole’s hillside soils, uplifted by Mediterranean breezes and Tuscan sunshine.
First bottled in 1974, San Vincenti blends rustic tradition with refined modernity. The estate’s Chianti Classico DOCG reflects a timeless balance between red fruit brightness, floral lift, and mouthwatering structure—ideal for immediate enjoyment yet built with the capacity to evolve.
Why we love it:
San Vincenti Chianti Classico is a true taste of Gaiole: vibrant cherry fruit, delicate florality, and mineral-laced structure with polished tannins. It feels both fresh and grounded—an everyday indulgence that also rewards patience and cellaring, perfect for the Irish table.
