Burson Rosso “Etichetta Blu” is Randi Vini’s vibrant flagship red, made from 100% Longanesi (Bursôn)—a local grape meticulously revived from extinction. Crafted with a gentle carbonic maceration before stainless fermentation and ageing, this organically farmed wine delivers an expressive, fruit-driven character balanced by structured tannins and fresh acidity.

Bright ruby red, clear and medium-deep.

Nose
Juicy ripe plums and cherries, balanced by spicy violet florals, menthol hints, balsamic undercurrents, and a faint iodine twist.

Palate
Energetic and direct, with crunchy red fruit, vibrant acidity, firm yet fine tannins, and a lingering, slightly bittersweet finish. Harmonious, with a long, clean finish.

Elegant and versatile, ideal with:

  • Game meats (venison, wild boar), picanha or vaca vieja
  • Grilled or braised pork dishes (like stinco di maiale) with root veg
  • Herb-crusted steak or T-bone Fiorentina

Randi Vini, in Fusignano near Ravenna, is a family-run, organic-certified winery dedicated to reviving rare local varieties. Their 8-hectare Longanesi vineyard dates from 1998–2002 and yields expressive fruit with true character.
