About this product

Untamed. Earthy. Unmistakably Chihuahuan.
Nocheluna Sotol is not tequila. It’s not mezcal. It’s sotol—a rare spirit born in the high-desert wilderness of northern Mexico and made from Dasylirion (sotol) plants that grow wild for up to 15 years before harvest. Crafted in the state of Chihuahua by fourth-generation Maestro Vinatero Don Eduardo Arrieta, Nocheluna captures the essence of its rugged terroir with clarity, tradition, and soul.

With smoky whispers, bright minerality, and wild herbaceousness, this is a spirit that dances between fire and flora — more refined than mezcal, more rustic than tequila. Backed by music legend Lenny Kravitz, Nocheluna is a tribute to ancestral practices and the quiet strength of the desert moon.

Why we love it:
This is a bold step into Mexico’s lesser-known spirit heritage. Nocheluna Sotol delivers terroir-driven character and artisanal integrity in every sip. If you love mezcal or single malts, this one’s for you.

Country of origin

Mexico

Colour
Crystal clear and luminous.

Nose
Wild herbs, desert sage, sweet smoke, and citrus peel.

Palate
Smooth and earthy with notes of roasted agave-like sweetness, peppered minerality, and soft smoke.

Sotol is best enjoyed slowly to appreciate its untamed character. Serve neat, or try in rustic, mezcal-inspired cocktails.
