Pure Marlborough freshness without the premium price tag.
Marlborough is the name that changed the world's perception of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Cool nights, bright sunshine and long growing conditions help produce wines with the unmistakable combination of citrus, tropical fruit and refreshing acidity that has made the region such a global favourite. Nika Tiki keeps that classic style wonderfully uncomplicated.
The wine is pale, aromatic and immediately inviting, with fresh lemon and lime alongside tropical fruit and a touch of green herb. There is plenty of crisp acidity, but the fruit keeps the palate generous and lively rather than austere. For Sauvignon Blanc drinkers in Ireland, it is exactly the sort of bottle that delivers what you expect from Marlborough — fresh, clean and refreshing — at an accessible price.
Nika Tiki was created in 2012, with its name inspired by the traditional carved figurines found around the Marlborough region. Even the label tells a little of the story, combining the New Zealand silver fern with the mountains whose snowmelt provides water for the vineyards. Behind the approachable price is a producer working within New Zealand's recognised Sustainable Winegrowing programme, reflecting the country's wider commitment to responsible vineyard management.
Why we love it:
This is Sauvignon Blanc doing exactly what it should: bright, crisp, fruity and incredibly easy to enjoy. It has enough tropical fruit to keep it generous, plenty of citrus freshness and that classic Marlborough herbal lift, making it a dependable bottle for everyday drinking.

Nika Tiki was first created in 2012 as a celebration of Marlborough's signature Sauvignon Blanc style. The range is produced in partnership with one of New Zealand's leading wine producers, accredited under Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand, an industry-wide programme focused on responsible vineyard and winery practices. The label itself embraces New Zealand imagery, from the silver fern to the mountains and snowmelt that are so closely connected with the country's wine-growing landscape.
