Martini Fiero

A Bold Burst of Italian Orange
Not every vermouth needs to follow tradition. Martini Fiero brings a fresh, modern twist to the Italian aperitivo, combining the winemaking heritage of Martini with an intensely fruity, bittersweet orange character. Introduced in 2019, it was created for a new generation of aperitivo drinkers looking for something refreshing, colourful and effortlessly easy to enjoy.

At its heart is a blend of crisp white wines and carefully selected botanicals, with sweet Spanish oranges from Murcia providing its distinctive citrus personality. The orange peels are traditionally hand-peeled and dried under the sun to preserve their essential oils, capturing their fragrant, zesty character. Two varieties of wormwood, Artemisia absinthium and Artemisia pontica, add the characteristic herbal bitterness that gives Italian aperitivo its unmistakable balance.

The result is a strikingly vibrant red vermouth, bursting with orange and fresh citrus zest, followed by a gentle bittersweet finish. The name Fiero means proud, intense and bold in Italian, and it certainly lives up to it. Designed specifically to pair with tonic in a simple 50/50 serve, it has become a modern favourite for relaxed aperitivo moments, from sunny Italian terraces to evenings at home in Ireland.

Fiero is a wonderfully refreshing alternative to the more traditional vermouth styles. Its generous orange character makes it immediately appealing, while the underlying herbal bitterness keeps it balanced and prevents it from becoming simply sweet. Best of all, it requires very little effort to enjoy: equal parts Fiero and tonic, plenty of ice and a slice of orange make an excellent aperitivo.
