Small in strength. Big on juicy hop character.
Tiny is Larkin's answer to those occasions when you want the bright, expressive character of a modern IPA without committing to the weight and strength that often comes with it. This Session IPA keeps things light, approachable and refreshingly easy to drink, while still delivering the juicy hop personality that has become such a defining part of contemporary Irish craft beer.
There is something particularly satisfying about a beer that understands its role. Tiny is not trying to be a Double IPA squeezed into a smaller ABV; instead, it embraces the sessionable side of the style. The body stays light, the finish remains fresh, and the hops provide enough fruit and aroma to make every sip feel properly rewarding. It is the kind of beer that works just as well for a relaxed afternoon as it does when the evening stretches on a little longer than planned.
In the glass, Tiny pours a bright golden colour with a lively white head. The aroma is fresh and hop-led, bringing juicy citrus and tropical fruit alongside softer notes of ripe stone fruit. On the palate, the beer is light and crisp, with a gentle malt base providing structure without getting in the way of the hops. The fruit character stays at the centre, while a restrained bitterness gives the beer definition and keeps the finish clean and refreshing.
That balance is what makes a good Session IPA so appealing. Reducing the alcohol can easily mean reducing the flavour too, but Tiny keeps enough hop expression to remain unmistakably an IPA. The lighter body makes it highly drinkable, while the juicy fruit character stops it from feeling thin or forgettable. It is approachable without being bland and hoppy without becoming intense.
For anyone exploring the lighter side of Irish craft beer, Tiny makes a particularly easy place to start. It has the familiar citrus and tropical character expected from a modern IPA, but in a format that feels relaxed and uncomplicated. It is equally suited to seasoned craft beer drinkers looking for something more sessionable and those who simply want a refreshing beer with a little more personality than a standard lager.
Like Maverick, Tiny shows Larkin's ability to make hop-forward beer feel approachable. Where Maverick brings a fuller, juicier East Coast IPA experience, Tiny pares things back and focuses on freshness, drinkability and balance. Sometimes a smaller beer is exactly what is needed — and Tiny makes a very convincing case for it.
Why we love it:
Tiny keeps the juicy, modern IPA character while making everything lighter and easier to drink. Fresh hop flavour, a crisp body and restrained bitterness give it plenty of personality without any unnecessary heaviness. A very handy beer to have in the fridge when one IPA is simply not enough.

Bright golden with a lively white head.
Aroma
Fresh citrus and juicy tropical fruit lead the way, with softer notes of ripe stone fruit and a light floral hop character.
Palate
Light-bodied and crisp, with juicy citrus and tropical fruit supported by a clean, subtle malt base. A restrained bitterness provides balance without dominating the flavour, leading into a refreshing, gently dry finish with lingering fruit and hop character.
Tiny's light body and refreshing hop character make it an easy match for casual food, particularly dishes with a little spice or richness where its crisp finish can freshen the palate.
Try it with:
- Chicken burgers and grilled chicken
- Fish tacos and battered fish
- Pizza and lighter flatbreads
- Thai, Mexican and mildly spicy dishes
- Grilled halloumi and young cheeses
- Crisps, salted nuts and sharing snacks
It is also an excellent beer to enjoy on its own when something light, hoppy and refreshing is called for. Serve at around 6–8°C to keep the beer crisp while allowing its juicy hop aroma to shine.

Larkin's Brewing Co. is an independent Irish craft brewery known for its modern, hop-forward approach and a range of beers that balance flavour with drinkability. From fuller East Coast IPAs to lighter, more sessionable styles, the brewery has developed a portfolio that feels contemporary while remaining firmly focused on making beer people genuinely want to drink.
Tiny represents the lighter side of that approach. It takes the familiar appeal of a juicy IPA and puts it into a more relaxed, session-friendly format — proof that Irish craft beer does not always need bigger ABVs or bigger flavours to make an impression.
