About this product
Structured. Smooth. Northern Italian depth.

From the gentle slopes of Capriano del Colle, Rubinera Rosso is Tenuta La Vigna’s approachable red — a blend of Marzemino, Merlot, and Sangiovese that offers charm, freshness, and everyday drinkability. Grown organically on the estate’s sunlit vineyards, this wine reflects the craftsmanship and care typical of the region, while remaining versatile and easy to enjoy.

In the glass, it shows a medium ruby hue, opening with aromas of red cherries, raspberries, and soft hints of spice. On the palate, it’s smooth and well-balanced, with juicy red fruit, gentle tannins, and a bright, lively finish. Rubinera is structured enough to satisfy red wine lovers, yet light enough to pair effortlessly with a wide range of dishes.

For Irish tables, this wine is a perfect companion to grilled meats, pasta with tomato-based sauces, or a simple charcuterie board. It’s a friendly, versatile red that brings a touch of Lombardy warmth and character to everyday dining, without demanding ceremony.

Why we love it:
We love Rubinera for its approachable charm and bright, juicy personality. It’s a red that feels effortless yet thoughtfully crafted — a perfect introduction to Lombardy’s reds and an easy way to bring Italian flavor to Ireland’s everyday meals.
