KONG Spiced Rainforest Rum is a 100% natural spiced rum crafted from aged Guatemalan molasses rums matured between 3 and 10 years in American white oak barrels. Inspired by the rare mountain gorillas of the Virunga rainforest, the recipe incorporates botanicals found in their habitat—bamboo shoots, blackberry, wild celery, eucalyptus leaves, banana and select herbs.
The bottle itself is a sculptural piece—handcrafted in the shape of an adult gorilla head using mineral materials, mirroring volcanic rock and serving as a powerful homage to the endangered species. Each limited edition is capped at 4,804 bottles, reflecting the approximate number of mountain gorillas remaining in the wild. A portion of sale proceeds supports gorilla conservation through Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and GRACE Gorillas.
