About this product

Timeless. Majestic. A Spanish red that speaks in centuries, not seasons.
In the arid windswept hills of Aragón, where gnarled vines cling to rocky soils and winters test the patience of growers, some wines are made slowly—and Íbero de Paniza III is one of them. This Gran Reserva is the final chapter in Paniza’s trilogy of Iberian legacy: a wine shaped not only by land and grape, but by time itself.

Crafted from a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta, and Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine matures in American oak barrels for at least 24 months, followed by a long rest of 36 months in bottle. These years of quiet transformation allow bold fruit to mellow, oak to integrate, and the structure to refine into something deeply elegant.

This is not a wine that shouts—it whispers stories of tradition, of fire-warmed cellars, of evenings where one glass becomes three. Rich yet poised, mature yet full of life, it’s a bottle made to be remembered.

Why we love it:
Elegant, soulful, and contemplative—Íbero III is the kind of wine you open when the night stretches ahead and conversation lingers. A Gran Reserva with integrity and warmth, it’s less about flash, more about finesse.

Bodegas Paniza, founded in 1953, is a cooperative rooted in high-altitude viticulture and ancient varietals. Their Íbero collection is a tribute to the past—not just through names or imagery, but through wines that demand the kind of time, patience, and craftsmanship that used to be standard. Íbero III, the Gran Reserva, is the culmination of this philosophy: a wine that lets time do the talking.
