About this product

Elegant. Mediterranean. Provence beyond the rosé.
When people think of Provence, rosé almost always steals the spotlight. Yet hidden among the sun-drenched vineyards of the French Riviera are white wines of remarkable elegance and character. Domaine Tropez Blanc is one of those discoveries—a refined, beautifully textured white that captures the sunshine, sea breezes, and relaxed sophistication of Saint-Tropez in every glass.

Produced by Domaine Tropez in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, this premium cuvée showcases a carefully composed blend of Rolle (Vermentino), Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier. Each grape plays a distinct role: Rolle brings freshness and Mediterranean minerality, Sauvignon Blanc contributes aromatic lift and vibrant acidity, while Viognier adds generous stone fruit and an elegant, silky texture. Around 30% of the wine is matured in new French oak for three months, adding subtle richness without overshadowing the fruit.

The vineyards sit on sandy schist hillsides just a short distance from the Mediterranean Sea, where warm Provençal sunshine is tempered by cooling coastal breezes. Night harvesting preserves freshness and aromatic purity, while careful lees ageing enhances texture and complexity. The result is a white wine that feels unmistakably Provençal—bright and vibrant, yet with the depth expected from a premium cuvée.

In the glass, Domaine Tropez Blanc shines with a luminous pale gold colour. The bouquet is generous and expressive, revealing aromas of ripe peach, apricot, mango, pineapple, and citrus blossom, complemented by delicate floral notes and a whisper of vanilla from the gentle oak ageing. It immediately evokes warm Mediterranean afternoons overlooking the Côte d'Azur.

The palate is rich without becoming heavy, balancing ripe yellow fruits and exotic notes with lively freshness. Layers of peach, apricot, and citrus unfold alongside subtle creamy texture, delicate toasted oak, and a refined mineral backbone. The finish is long, vibrant, and beautifully polished, leaving lingering notes of stone fruit and fresh citrus.

For wine lovers in Ireland, Domaine Tropez Blanc offers something refreshingly different from classic Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc. It brings together Mediterranean generosity with French elegance, making it an ideal choice for those looking to explore the whites of Provence—a region whose reputation extends far beyond rosé.

Why we love it:
This is Provence in its most elegant form. The blend of Rolle, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier creates a wine that's simultaneously fresh, aromatic, and beautifully textured, while the delicate touch of oak adds real sophistication. If you've only ever associated Provence with rosé, this bottle is guaranteed to change your perspective.
