About this product

Bright. Balanced. Classic Italian Prosecco at its best.
Colli Vicentini “Romeo” Prosecco is the quintessential taste of Veneto — lively, elegant, and irresistibly Italian. Produced by the historic Colli Vicentini cooperative, it captures the joy and refinement that make Prosecco one of Italy’s most beloved sparkling wines. Like its namesake, Romeo is full of charm and passion, a perfect partner to Juliet in both name and spirit.

Brilliant straw yellow with fine, persistent bubbles, Romeo opens with aromas of fresh pear, green apple, and white peach, enhanced by delicate floral notes. The palate is crisp, balanced, and refreshing, offering flavours of orchard fruit and citrus zest with a subtle creamy finish. Its lively effervescence and clean profile make it ideal for every occasion — from a celebratory toast to a quiet evening aperitivo.

Crafted in the heart of Veneto using the Glera grape, Romeo Prosecco reflects the region’s dedication to quality and tradition. For Irish wine lovers, it’s a sparkling expression of Italian life — bright, joyful, and effortlessly elegant.

Why we love it:
This Extra Dry Prosecco strikes a beautiful balance — lifted fruit, fine acidity, and perfectly measured sweetness. A versatile fizz that adapts effortlessly to Irish taste and celebrations alike.

Founded in 1955, Cantina Sociale dei Colli Vicentini began as a cooperative of 33 dedicated vineyard growers from Montecchio Maggiore and nearby villages in Veneto, Italy — an area with volcanic and morainic soils perfectly suited to viticulture.

Over the decades, the winery has evolved into a modern yet territorial powerhouse, now overseeing around 1,200 hectares of vineyards across the Berici Hills. This scale allows Colli Vicentini to combine ancient local grape varieties with international ones, crafting wines that range from easy-drinking everyday bottles to premium Torre dei Vescovi selections.
