A Bold Expression of Ancient Lazio, Rooted in History
Cincinnato "Argeo" is a red wine steeped in tradition and shaped by the volcanic hills of Cori in Lazio. Made exclusively from Cesanese, a native grape cherished since Roman times, this wine is named in honour of Argeo, the founder of the Cincinnato cooperative. It's a soulful, structured red that beautifully bridges past and present — earthy, elegant, and quietly powerful.
Why we love it:
Cesanese is one of Italy’s most characterful red grapes, and Argeo delivers its rustic charm with refinement. Dark berries, spice, and soft tannins make this an irresistible alternative to the usual suspects — perfect for Irish wine lovers craving something genuinely different and rooted in place.
