About this product

Bold. Expressive. Steeped in Irish folklore.
Named after the ancient Keshcorran Hill—home to mystical caves and the legendary High King Cormac—this 14‑year‑old single malt whiskey from Athrú is a tribute to Sligo’s rich heritage. Matured for 10 years in American oak and then finished for 4 years in rare Tokaji sweet-wine casks from Hungary, it delivers a uniquely vibrant profile that blends tradition and innovation.

Why we love it:
Keshcorran is a beautifully balanced expression where bright orchard fruit meets Tokaji’s tropical sweetness, anchored by oak spice and tobacco—delivering a whiskey that feels both timelessly Irish and refreshingly contemporary.

Athrú (“change” in Irish) is the small-batch single malt label from Lough Gill Distillery, led by master blender Billy Walker (World Distiller of the Year 2015). Their “Creation Trilogy” of 14‑year-old whiskeys—Annacoona, Knocknarea, and Keshcorran—reflect local folklore and rigorously-selected cask finishes.
