Floral, Lively & Naturally Aromatic.
Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee, and nowhere is that heritage more vividly expressed than in Sidamo, a high-altitude region in the lush south known worldwide for elegance, delicacy and expressive aromatics. Grown at elevations often above 2,000 metres, these beans mature slowly in cool mountain air, developing a natural sweetness and bright acidity that define the best Ethiopian coffees.
This Sidamo reflects the classic regional style beautifully. Washed-processed — the traditional method here — it delivers exceptional clarity, enhancing the floral purity, citrus brightness and lifted aromatics the region is prized for. From the first moment, the nose stands out: highly expressive, floral and citrus-led, with an unmistakable note of bergamot, the signature aroma of Sidamo’s finest lots.
The body is lighter than that of Central or South American coffees, but silky and refined, letting the aromatics shine. Sweetness sits above average, balancing the naturally higher acidity. The flavour profile is bright yet elegant, offering flowers, citrus, fresh fruits and honey, all carried with gentle vibrancy.
As the cup develops, the finish becomes long and captivating, unfolding with fresh fruit, honeyed warmth and delicate spices, leaving a persistent aftertaste that lingers gracefully.
This is a coffee for those who love purity, lift and high aromatic detail — a cup where fragrance, clarity and natural elegance come together in perfect harmony.
Why we love it:
A wonderfully fragrant single origin full of floral lift, citrus clarity and refined sweetness. The bergamot note is unmistakable, the acidity sparkles without sharpness, and the long honey-and-spice finish makes it endlessly memorable.
