From the misty highlands south of San José comes one of the most celebrated coffees in Central America: Costa Rica Tarrazú. This region, tucked into steep volcanic valleys, is known for producing beans of exceptional clarity and brightness. At elevations often exceeding 1,500 metres, the cherries mature slowly, concentrating sweetness and developing the vibrant aromatics that have made Tarrazú a benchmark for quality worldwide.
