Produced at the Buffalo Trace distillery in Kentucky, this wheated bourbon undergoes a 12-year ageing process, a considerable long time in the bourbon realm. Bottled at 45% ABV, it is a smooth, approachable, and well-balanced bourbon, displaying a beautiful deep bronze colour. Expect notes of cereals, marzipan, vanilla and clove.
 
Nose Oily and rich. Marzipan, cereals, vanilla spice.
Palate Oaked. Spice, perfumy, toasty.
Finish Quite sweet, oaky, cereal rich.
