Gaja Pieve Santa Restituta Brunello di Montalcino is a red wine from the Brunello di Montalcino region in Tuscany, Italy. This wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes and is aged for 24 months in oak barrels, followed by an additional 12 months in the bottle before release. It has a deep ruby colour with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and spice. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied with flavours of dark fruit, vanilla, and oak. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, leading to a long, smooth finish. This wine pairs well with hearty meat dishes and aged cheeses. This powerful, graceful wine has a 20+-year lifespan ahead of it.
