About this product

Classic. Herbaceous. Transcendent.
La Fée Parisienne brings the legendary absinthe ritual back to life, being the first authentically French absinthe to be legally distilled since the 1915 ban. Made in collaboration with Marie‑Claude Delahaye of the Musée de l’Absinthe, this expression follows a traditional 19th-century recipe with nine botanicals—including grande and petite wormwood, fennel, anise, mint, hyssop, coriander, and a secret ingredient.

Reformulated in 2013, it now has higher wormwood levels and subtler anise, allowing more complex herbal notes to emerge. Bottled at 68% ABV in UV-protective glass, it preserves the natural green hue from post-distillation herbal maceration.

Perfect for ritualists and cocktail lovers, this supremely drinkable verte absinthe balances bold traditional character with refined drinkability.

Why we love it:
La Fée Parisienne embodies both history and vibrancy – a perfectly balanced absinthe that is herbal yet refined, structured yet expressive. It offers a gateway into ritual and creativity with every pour.

La Fée was founded in 2000 by George Rowley and Marie-Claude Delahaye to revive authentic absinthe in France. Using meticulously researched 19th-century methods and partnering with the Musée de l’Absinthe, they created a spirit that’s both historically faithful and modernly compelling.
