Heritage. Smoothness. Timeless appeal.
Canadian Club 1858 is a legendary whisky with over 160 years of history — the original Canadian whisky that became a global icon. Light, smooth, and perfectly balanced, it offers gentle notes of toffee, spice, and toasted oak, making it incredibly easy to enjoy neat, on the rocks, or in a classic highball.
Crafted with a unique pre-barrel blending method — where rye, rye malt, barley malt, and corn distillates are blended before ageing — Canadian Club achieves an exceptionally smooth profile, matured for a minimum of six years in seasoned white oak barrels.
Why we love it:
It’s a classic for a reason — approachable, balanced, and full of understated charm. Whether you're sipping solo or mixing for friends, Canadian Club delivers consistent quality and a rich legacy in every glass.

Canadian Club was founded in 1858 by Hiram Walker in Windsor, Ontario — becoming one of the first North American distilleries to achieve global fame. Known for pioneering the smooth Canadian whisky style, the brand was a favourite of royalty and bootleggers alike during Prohibition. Today, Canadian Club remains an iconic name, representing a blend of heritage, quality, and smooth character, produced under Beam Suntory.
