About this product

We love Bag In Box concept! It has a number of advantages:

  • Lighter than glass packaging, easier to transport
  • BIB packaging preserves the quality of the wine better than a bottle, no light or oxygen affects the wine, so it stays fresh for weeks!
  • It's better for the environment: corrugate requires a lot less energy to produce than glass and the outer box and bag are recyclable
  • Cheaper than buying 4 separate glass bottles
  • Party friendly

The Beats the Devil series is a striking example of how first-class grapes, perfect craftsmanship and the generosity of nature in Australia can result in elegant wines with perfect aroma and delicious taste.

The simple secret behind the delicious BEATS THE DEVIL Shiraz is the raw material - a combination of extraordinarily good grapes and Mother Earth's generosity in Victoria. The winemakers have carefully selected the best grapes to give structure, body and flavor to this Shiraz.

Part of the wine is made according to the same method as the Italian darling Ripasso. The word Ripasso comes from ripassare, which means "pass again", the must undergoes a double fermentation on grape skins and thereby adds color, flavour and fullness. Before bottling, part of the wine matures in French and American oak barrels.

BEATS THE DEVIL Shiraz is deep red in colour with a cheeky black core. Aroma of ripe fruit, such as plum, and espresso beans in fine combination with tones of dark chocolate. The taste is well structured with great fullness, a touch of black olives and spices from the barrel aging. The wine is harmonious with good intensity and a nice aftertaste.

The wine is an excellent companion for summer barbecues, for meat dishes with intense flavour or for strong cheeses. Serving temperature: 14-16 ° C.
