Intricate. Bold. Wildly sophisticated.
Born in Germany’s Black Forest, Monkey 47 is a gin like no other — a harmonious fusion of 47 botanicals, including local lingonberries, spruce tips, and classic juniper, distilled in small copper stills and married with soft forest spring water. With a robust 47% ABV, this gin delivers compelling depth and complexity, evolving sip by sip.
Why we love it:
Monkey 47 is gin elevated — remarkably complex, richly layered, and endlessly discoverable. It’s a premium expression rooted in place and story, thrilling both sippers and creative cocktail-makers alike.

Germany

Colour
Crystal-clear with a subtle golden sheen, hinting at its rich botanical infusion.
Nose
A bold juniper core unfolds into fresh citrus (lemon, orange zest), forest herbs (sage, thyme, lavender), and light floral whispers of jasmine and hibiscus.
Palate
Exceptionally layered — juniper leads, followed by citrus zest, cardamom, coriander, nutmeg, angelica, honeyed sweetness, fresh cucumber, and tart lingonberry.

An adaptable gastronomic companion:
- Complements smoked salmon, gravlax canapés, or light seafood
- Pairs beautifully with charcuterie, cured meats, herb-infused dishes, strong cheeses, or Asian fare like curries and ginger prawns

Monkey 47 shines in both simple and refined serves:
- Neat or in a minimalist Martini or Gibson, where complex botanicals can shine
- Classic G&T with premium tonic and a grapefruit twist — garnish with bay leaf or pink peppercorns for an extra twist
✨ Featured Cocktail: Black Forest Martini - 60 ml Monkey 47
- 10 ml dry vermouth
- Stir with ice, strain into a chilled coupe
- Garnish with grapefruit twist or cherry
