Silverboom are top quality wines from South Africa - the result of top-notch winemakers and generous nature. South Africa has undergone a colossal change in recent decades and today the country is capable of delivering a sea of ​​wonderful wines. One of the main reasons for this is the location of the country. In addition to skilled winemakers, good wine requires a number of factors: sun, heat, cold and a good soil. All this is present in South Africa. In recent years, South Africa has also fostered a new and innovative generation of winemakers.
 
Dedicated and specialised winemakers have carefully selected the Shiraz and Merlot grapes for this wonderful and powerful wine. The grapes are harvested at optimal maturity to ensure the wine has lots of juice, intensity and power. Silverboom is fermented up to an alcohol percentage of 15%. The fermentation is then stopped to obtain a wine that shows a nice balance between concentration in the taste and a fine sweetness at the end.
 
Silverboom Shiraz-Merlot is an extremely soft but full-bodied wine with lots of South Africa's sun and heat in the glass. In the scent there is a wealth of wild berries and licorice as well as fine hints of spices. In the taste you meet the same tones as in the aroma, additional notes of pepper, fine solid tannins and a long lasting aftertaste. Silverboom can be enjoyed now but can also easily withstand storage up to five years from the harvest year.

Enjoy Silverboom Shiraz Merlot with red meat, spicy food, medium-bodied cheeses or with a really good burger.  Serve it at a room temperature or higher (>18 ° C) to allow the high alcohol content to evaporate and reveal the flavour profile.
