Silverboom are top quality wines from South Africa - the result of top-notch winemakers and generous nature. South Africa has undergone a colossal change in recent decades and today the country is capable of delivering a sea of wonderful wines. One of the main reasons for this is the location of the country. In addition to skilled winemakers, good wine requires a number of factors: sun, heat, cold and a good soil. All this is present in South Africa. In recent years, South Africa has also fostered a new and innovative generation of winemakers.

The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for Silverboom Black Label are carefully selected by the winemaker and harvested from well-drained vineyards, where the soil is characterised by granite and slate, giving the vines a hard surface to work in. The result is resilient vines and thus more intensity in the grapes. The grapes are picked in late March in the early morning hours and brought directly to the winery. Here the grapes are lightly pressed, and subsequently undergo a 36-hour soak. After soaking, the wine is fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks to subsequently rest on the tanks for 3 weeks. When the wine has calmed down, it is gently stored on oak and thus it achieves the high quality.

Silverboom Black Label is intense deep red in the glass with dark almost black touches. In the scent you are greeted by a multitude of red and black berries such as black currants, strawberries and blueberries. In the mouth, the wine is full-bodied and concentrated with a classic Cabernet Sauvignon character. In the taste, the notes go from the scent again, the blackcurrants are dominant and are complemented nicely by fine oak tones and a slightly spicy touch.

Silverboom Black Label is an obvious companion for barbecue, veal, lamb and a wide selection of cheeses. Serving temperature: 16-18 ° C.
